SGA Leadership 2022-23

Elections for 2022-2023 Student Government Association positions were held in September. The executive board, an all-female team for the third consecutive year, includes:

President Lauren Barnett, a senior double majoring in History and Economics with a Distinction in Poverty Studies. She is involved in Orientation Team, the Bonner Leader program, the Harrison Honors program, ’Southern Ambassadors, Religious Life, Greek Life, ARC tutoring, and Cross Cultural Committee. She was 2021-2022 SGA treasurer.

Vice President Madison Blair, a senior English major from Hoover, Ala. She is involved in Greek Life, the Orientation Team, and ’Southern Ambassadors, and is a writing center tutor. She was the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 SGA secretary.

Treasurer Kenye’ Underwood, a senior Psychology major with a Distinction in Leadership Studies. She is involved in First-Generation College Students, the Black Student Union, and Panther Peer Mentor program.

Secretary Paige Washington, a senior biology major. She is involved in Greek Life and is on the BSC Women’s Track and Field team.
