Hilltop Theatre Season 2021-22
Birmingham-Southern Theatre invites the campus community and Birmingham theatre enthusiasts to join them for the 2021-22 season.
The department has announced an exciting line-up along with other great news and achievements. This fall, Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre Dr. Lusie Cuskey has joined the faculty, and Professor Dr. Alan Litsey received the David and Katy Smith Senior Faculty Award.
Alongside theatre faculty, students will have important roles in the directing and producing the shows, along with on-stage roles.
“We’re very excited about student opportunities for exploration and creativity, including design, leadership, technical and performance,” Litsey says. “Our diverse season reflects timely issues of importance to us all: love, family, community, human rights, justice. We think of ourselves as a family of learners and look forward to sharing our discoveries with our community.”
COVID-19 precautions will be followed during the shows, and audience members are required to be masked and to stay socially distant.
