Your Guide to E-Term Businesses
It’s January on the Hilltop so you know what that means – some students are in classrooms, some are studying abroad, and some are starting their own businesses.
As a part of the business department’s capstone project, senior business majors participate in the Joseph S. Bruno Entrepreneurship Challenge every E-Term. Each team, made up of four to six students, receives $500 in funding to launch a start-up business. Students run the businesses for about three weeks, bringing foods, products, and services to campus.
After the three-week run, the teams present to external judges who give out three awards: Highest Profit, Most Innovative, and the overall Entrepreneurship Challenge winner.
Here is a guide to the six teams you will see this month. Find more information about pick-up locations and hours of operation on the teams’ social media accounts.
